G2A Goldmine or Kinguin Mafia?

When choosing between G2A Goldmine and Kinguin Mafia for a platform to earn money when gaming, there is a lot to consider. Fortunately, both sites are reputable and both sites have their advantages. This article will help you choose which will be best for you based on what you plan to do, the reach of your social media and gaming activities, and how much time you plan to spend on attempting to earn money. Both sites, however, will require work on your part, but once you have a decent sized team, you will start to earn passive income through their purchases and should be able to either make some money to keep, or put that money towards awesome new games.

Make money with G2A Goldmine and Kinguin Mafia

G2A and Kinguin both offer something a little bit different for affiliates, I'll break down their base plans for normal affiliates. If you start bringing in a lot of sales, you should definitely contact them as they will probably be willing to give you a coupon code for free which will pass on extra savings to your viewership and result in more sales, giving both the site and you extra profit. I'll evaluate both affiliate programs now and break them down in terms of compensation so you can see what's going on. Both sites utilize cookies so if someone clicks on one of your ref links, you may earn money down the line if they don't make a purchase right away.

G2A Goldmine Compensation and fine print

For tier one sales on G2A (Meaning you directly referred someone that made a purchase) You'll earn 2.48% of the sales price in commission. Once this person has made a purchase, they'll be added to your team and you'll earn another 2.48% of each purchase they make for life. If one of your tier one referrals refers someone, you'll earn 1.49% of each purchase that tier two referral makes. Furthermore, if a tier two customer refers someone that makes a purchase, you'll earn 0.59% of each purchase made by that referral.

Let's take for instance a $50 dollar game.

If a tier one referral purchases the game, you'll earn $1.24.

If  a tier two referral purchases the game, you'll earn $0.74.

And if a tier three referral purchases the game, you'll earn $0.30.

You can see that tier one referrals will bring in the most revenue for you, but also that the second and third tier referrals will also bring in money, especially if you've got a large team.

G2A Goldmine has no minimum payout and will pay you with Paypal. When you choose to take a Paypal payment, it can take up to 7 days and you will pay roughly $1.30 in fees, so it's best to take payments less frequently and in larger amounts.

All referrals of tiers 1-3 are perpetual so you'll earn money passively as your team makes purchases. Building a solid platform of tier one referrals then offering to help them learn how to use Goldmine to make money can be a great way to make a ton of money through tier two and three referrals.

Kinguin Mafia Compensation and Fine Print

Kinguin offers a much higher tier one referral payment than G2A, clocking in at 5% for each purchase. Like G2A, once someone has joined your Family, then you'll earn based on all future purchases that person makes. At tier two referrals, Kinguin offers affiliates 0.75% of sales, and at tier three, Kinguin offers 0.25% of sales.

Let's show some examples of compensation for a $50 dollar game like we did with G2A so you can get an idea of how you will earn.

If a tier one referral purchases the game, you'll earn $2.50

If a tier two referral purchases the game, you'll earn $0.38

If a tier three referral purchases the game, you'll earn $0.13

You can see that while tier one sales make roughly double what G2A offers, tier two and three sales earn roughly half of what G2A offers.

Kinguin has a minimum payout of $30, meaning you'll need to bring in $600 dollars worth of sales in order to get a payment, anything less than that and Kinguin won't pay you anything. Kinguin doesn't charge a fee to send a Paypal payment and will process it within 7 days.

Fortunately, Kinguin does make it easier to earn more money from tier one sales than G2A, but you'll earn less from your second and third tier referrals.

G2A Goldmine and Kinguin Mafia example of sales

Let's say you make $500 of tier one sales, $400 of tier two sales, and $300 of tier three sales, here's what you'd be looking at in terms of total compensation from both G2A Goldmine and Kinguin Mafia.

With these sales numbers, Kinguin pays out more with a total payment of $28.75 while G2A pays out $18.83. As you can see, because the volume of tier one sales was so significant, Kinguin offered more compensation than G2A. To give some perspective, I added charts which break down the portion of earnings from each of the categories. While G2A's tier one earnings are still larger than tier two and three combined, the second and third tier make up more of the total earning than Kinguin's payout model. Both sites have their merits, but G2A's heavier compensation for second and third tier models make it more profitable to connect with your affiliates and help them refer new customers. With kinguin, it might not be worth the time to help your tier one referrals due to the fact that with $700 worth of sales for tier two and three, you'll only earn $3.75.

Which one is right for me?

Deciding which site is right for you can be a difficult decision to make, fortunately you could try both and see which you like over time, but if you choose to use both, it will make it harder to get a payment from either one. For my this site, I've chosen to use both because I think both provide value for my readers and for gamers in general. Both sites have great deals, both sites offer great customer support, and both sites offer great affiliate programs.

If you've created something of value or are bringing in a good sales volume, you should contact both sites and see if they can offer you something more. For my other website, Hearthstone Champion, G2A offered me a permanent 3% off coupon for my readers while still offering me the same compensation rates as a normal affiliate. Kinguin offered me a coupon for 3% off for my readership, but that 3% would have come out of my percentage of earnings for each sales when used.

Overall, it will largely depend on the size of your viewership and what you bring to the table in terms of what G2A and Kinguin will offer you in terms of extra benefits or increased compensations. Here are my general suggestions:

As with most affiliate marketing platforms, you can expect to have more tier two and three referrals than tier one due to the fact that it scales downwards. As you are just starting out, expect much more tier one affiliates. Since it scales downwards, over time you will earn more from tier two and three referrals, but you will not earn as much with G2A starting off as you will with Kinguin due to the fact that Kinguin offers double what G2A pays for a tier one sale. However, if you have a small viewership or aren't sure how committed you are, then G2A might be the better option. Because G2A doesn't have a minimum payout, as long as you earn over $1.30 in commissions, you'll get something out of it. The lack of a minimum payout makes G2A more attractive for affiliates that don't know if they'll be able to bring in $600 dollars worth of sales or not.

Fortunately, there can also be money to be had. In addition to earning enough money to pay for your various gaming expenses: (games, subscriptions, gaming supplies, hardware, etc) there is also profit to be had for those that know how to find it. As an avid gamer, I've always been looking for ways to both fund my gaming hobby and to create things of value for others while making money at the same time.

You can make money while playing games!

Fortunately for us, this is a great time to earn money through gaming as the market is huge! As gaming continues to increase in popularity, the potential for earning money increases exponentially. It has never been a better time to put your gaming skills to use and earning money from them while having a great time. I'm here to offer you five great ways in which you can earn money through gaming. Be warned, these all require effort and some degree of work.

Write a gaming Ebook

Writing paid guides in the form of an Ebook is a great way to make money! Several sites such as Killer Guides will allow you to post and sell your Ebooks online for a small commission on sales. Ebook sales are at an all-time high throughout every niche and if you've got inside information on how to excel at a game, a lot of players will pay good money for your content as long as it's well written. Be sure to refine your product before selling it as it will determine whether or not people will buy Ebooks from you in the future.

When creating an Ebook, be sure to write to the best of your ability and provide great, useful content for your customers. If you are great at a game and want to profit from your hard work, writing a useful guide for paying customers is a great way to make a good amount of money. For best results be sure to advertise your Ebook on social media where applicable. Being able to reach customers is very important and social media will play a huge role in generating new leads and sales.

Stream your favorite games

Streaming can be both very fun and profitable. Outlets such as Youtube and Twitch.tv are among the most popular streaming sites used by most gamers that choose to stream. Streaming games can be both fun and very profitable. In order to stream, you'll need to get some software that will allow you to broadcast your games and share when you play, you should also have a working webcam and a headset with a good microphone in order to interact with your audience. You don't have to be a professional to make money streaming. The keys to success are to either provide helpful insight into the games you play or by simply being entertaining to watch. You should also try to setup as regular schedule in which you stream games in order to build a following.

You should try to interact with your audience as much as possible and answer the questions they ask in chat. Thank them for stopping by if they are leaving and be sure to thank them for following you, it's a great way to keep them coming back for more.

You'll earn money through donations via Paypal or Bitcoin. You should be aware of chargebacks as they are a pain to deal with. As general advice, you should probably only accept donations from regulars that frequent your stream often as a chargeback for a tip will end up costing you $20-100 to pay back the money you were given. Patreon can be a great way to avoid chargebacks while allowing your fanbase to support you and give you donations for the entertainment you provide.

Be sure your internet can handle streaming while playing the games you are playing and that your broadcast is free of lag or stuttering, it will make it much more entertaining to watch and will land you more followers which could turn into generous donators in time.

Use Kinguin Mafia or G2A Goldmine

Kinguin Mafia and G2A Goldmine are great ways to earn money for gamers! If you are streaming, they can be a great way to subsidize your income while providing great value for your viewers. G2A and Kinguin are both game marketplaces in which third parties can sell game keys or any other in-game items or assets for real money. Because the markets are so competitive, these sites are one of the best ways to get PC games and software for the cheapest prices.

Kinguin and G2A both have affiliate programs in which you can earn money for sales you refer through their platforms. Furthermore, using G2A and Kinguin will also allow you to earn money up to three tiers down. This means that if you refer a friend that then refers another friend, you'll earn money from both sales. G2A and Kinguin are both great ways to earn money for both streamers and regular gamers alike.

If you're playing a game and help someone out, mention your G2A or Kinguin link to them and tell them that they can get great deals on games through it. The best way to refer people is to help them out in game or befriend them before telling them about it. If you do this, it won't come across as spam and they will be much more likely to join your team and start earning money for you.

You can signup with G2A here.

You can signup with Kinguin here.

Farm in-game resources

Farming in-game resources to sell to others is very common these days. Unfortunately, some games are bad at catching people who use botting to farm resources to sell to others, also, many times selling in-game resources for real world money is against the terms and conditions of many games and can result in a permanent ban. In order to sell in-game assets, you should first find a game in which the developers are friendly to such things, and also a game that you can reliably farm while having a good time. If you're having a terrible time farming in-game assets for real cash, then it probably won't be worth it to you in the long run. Farming can be very tedious, but it can also be very rewarding.

You could also train characters or accounts to high levels and then sell them as premium accounts for large sums of money. If you are great a power leveling and acquiring awesome gear/equipment, you might prefer doing this over simply farming in- game resources. Characters or accounts can sell for a lot of money through third-party markets and selling an account on a game you no longer wish to play can easily help cover your gaming expenses.

If you are going to be doing this method, you should be careful to follow all rules of the games you play as well as take precautions in order not to be scammed. The use of an escrow or third-party site such as kinguin or G2A can be a great way to sell your accounts and in-game assets for real money.

Write gaming articles

Finally, writing gaming articles can be a great way to earn money while providing valuable content to your fanbase. Whether you want to start your own website and earn money through ads or the development of your own business model or write for an established site, there is money to be made through freelance writing. Most of the sites you will write for if you choose to freelance will pay in either Paypal or Bitcoin. If you want to avoid fees for getting paid, Bitcoin is the better option, but it requires understanding of the technology and how to safely use it.

If you plan on writing articles for money, you'll need to both have authority in the game, and be well-versed in writing and be able to provide great content that is free of spelling and grammatical errors. Many sites will pay $20+ for a 500+ word article if it's well written.

If you plan on establishing your own website, you can start for free on blogspot or go ahead and buy your own domain and hosting through a hosting company. Wordpress can be a very powerful tool which isn't too difficult to learn that will allow you to easily create your own website. You can even integrate Woocommerce on your site to create your own store which supports Paypal payment and will allow you to sell digital goods to customers.

If you aren't sure whether paying for a site would be worth it, start off on a Blogspot for free! You'll still get a good amount of traffic, but you'll have less creative control on your site's appearance and won't have the ability to integrate an automated online store.

Writing is a great way to earn money while sharing knowledge about the games you love! If you aren't sure on whether or not you can do it, reach out to a few sites and ask them what their policy on submitting guest articles is. You'll probably get paid if they choose to publish it and they may even invite you back to write more!

Conclusion

These are 5 great ways to make money while gaming! There is plenty of money to be earned through sharing knowledge and doing the things you love. While all of these do require work in order to generate profit, they can be a ton of fun to do! Writing about games and sharing your knowledge is both profitable and rewarding, it's a ton of fun to interact with you readers, take suggestions on what to write, and to provide something which genuinely provides value to other people. I wish you the best of luck as you go forward and earn money with gaming! I'll be doing an in-depth article on how to earn with G2A Goldmine and Kinguin Mafia shortly for those that are interested.
